Frisbie is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Practice trained physician to work as a Hospitalist starting full time in September. 

We are an 84 bed Hospital located in Rochester, NH.  Situated in New Hampshire’s beautiful Seacoast area close to mountains, lakes, ocean, as well as nearby cultural attractions offered by Portsmouth, Boston, and Portland, Maine. The surrounding community boasts excellent public and private schools, as well as safe and family friendly suburbs.

Physician will work 12 -14 shifts per month Days & Nights.  (Friday to Thursday. Day shift 7a - 5p and Night shift 5p-7a (Night providers have Monday nights off) We currently have 3 physicians working during the day and one at night.

The average patient census per doctor during the day varies 10-15 and the number of admissions per night is 3-8.  Night provider is responsible for admissions, nursing calls, etc. There are no required procedures but ICU rounding is required. There is specialty backup during the day and on-call at night including Pulmonary, Cardiology, Vascular, Infectious Disease, etc. The Hospitalist will not run codes but usually respond if it is their patient.  Our EMR system is Meditech.
