Emergency Medicine Physician needed to care for our Veterans – Great Benefits!

The James Haley VA Medical Center located in Tampa, FL is searching for a BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physician to join their dynamic healthcare team.

As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will provide emergent medical treatment and personal care services to ill and injured veterans. Duties include documenting observations, assessments, and changes in patient's condition; collaborating with health team members to facilitate positive patient care outcomes.

The physician will order appropriate diagnostic tests, determining need for hospitalization at this facility or transferring the patient to another facility and performing Emergency Medicine procedures such as intubation and suturing where indicated. Most cases are medical emergencies; trauma cases are rare.

Mandatory Requirements: Emergency Medicine BC/BE

Work Hours: 4-10 hr days, nights are 3 days = 13/13/14 (8pm – 9am)

Salary Range: $280k-$300k per year

The selected candidate may be eligible for student loan repayment under the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). Participation is based on funds availability.
