Transplant Surgeon

The Department of Transplantation at Einstein Healthcare Network is seeking a full time abdominal transplant surgeon with a focus on liver transplantation. The candidate will be able to perform clinical activities relative to adult liver, kidney and pancreas transplant surgery including transplant nephrectomy, laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy, hepatobiliary surgery and laparoscopic surgery in transplant candidates.

Position Requirements: Responsibilities include pre-transplant patient management and assessment for transplant, post-transplant care and immunosuppression management. In addition to clinical responsibilities the individual will play a key role in strategic planning for the continued growth of the program, participation in the quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives and engagement in research activities. Familiarity with UNOS and CMS transplant regulations is required
