The Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine is seeking a board certified/board eligible adult neurosurgeon to provide care in our outpatient clinic, inpatient service, perform ER consults, participate in shared call and contribute to the teaching of residents and medical students at the Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona, Florida. Appointments will be at the non-tenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor based on qualifications.  Candidates should have a special expertise in trauma as demonstrated by working in a high volume trauma center, be dedicated to providing the perfect patient experience.

Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach is a 678-bed hospital. All major medical and surgical services are available. The 24-hours emergency department (ED) includes the area's only Level II Trauma Center.

Advertised Salary:  Salary will be commensurate with experience in specialized area of expertise

Qualifications

A M.D. is required for this position.
