Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity in Central Florida

BayCare Medical Group (BMG) is not a recruitment firm; we are a physician-led medical group seeking an experienced Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon to join our established team at Winter Haven Hospital. 

Experience with minimally invasive cardiac surgical techniques such as mini mitral valve repair/replacement and mini aortic valve replacement are preferred. Surgeon will complete a group of three cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons within BayCare Medical Group’s surgical practice at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, Florida.  Vascular surgery is also preferred.  Structural heart training is required.

Surgeon will complete a group of three cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons within BayCare Medical Group’s surgical practice at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, Florida. These surgeons perform a comprehensive spectrum of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery services including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair and replacement, complex aortic surgery, endovascular treatment of aneurysms, minimally invasive cardiac valvular surgical procedures and arrhythmia surgery.  The surgeons participate in a growing Structural Heart and Advanced Valve Care Center and play an active role in TAVR, MitraClip, and other structural heart procedures.

Position requires: Board Certified or Board Eligible by The American Board of Thoracic Surgery is required.
