Neurosurgeon

SBH Health System a 400 + bed Acute Care Hospital and verified Trauma Center in the Bronx, New York and academic health System affiliated with the CUNY School of Medicine and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine supporting 2 FQHC primary care centers / 2 faculty practice sites and an On-campus Ambulatory Care Center. SBH Health System is seeking a full-time Neurosurgeon to join its growing Neurosurgery Program.

The ideal candidate is an early or mid-career board-eligible/board-certified Neurosurgeon with interest in developing a busy and diverse clinical neurosurgical practice, with special emphasis on spine surgery. Subspecialty fellowship training is a plus. The candidate will be joining a group of two experienced neurosurgeons, a full-timer and a part-timer, with a special affinity for teamwork. The candidate should expect academic appointments at CUNY School of Medicine, at a level commensurate with his or her prior academic experience. Candidate will interact with medical students and General Surgery residents on a regular basis.

Candidates must have a current New York State license to practice and must be board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery. Spanish speakers are highly desirable.
