6th Ob/Gyn Physician Wanted

Fair Oaks Women’s Health in Pasadena, California is looking for a 6^th Ob/Gyn to join our busy, successful and growing suburban private practice. We see 1,000 patients per week and as a group perform more than 800 deliveries per year, all at Huntington Hospital which is next door to our office. We have a 7,000 square-foot office with 3 waiting rooms, 14 exam rooms, 3 ultrasound rooms, and a private lab.

Our doctors perform TLH, straight-stick and robotic. We have 3 full-time RDMS ultrasound technologists, an in-house lab, and we have the Monalisa Touch laser. We have a popular bio-identical hormone program on-site (Pasadena Pellet Therapy) and a high-end boutique Medi-Spa (Marina's Oasis). We have been using an EMR for 10 years (PrimeSUITE) and are well-known as a high-tech practice.

USC has an MFM group next door and an office of 50 USC specialists (including Gyn Onc) is in our building. The Huntington Ambulatory Surgical Center is one floor above us and the region's top breast and body imaging centers are one floor below.  Dr. Ramen Chmait has his LA Fetal Surgery program here. USC Ob/Gyn subspecialists come to our department and educational meetings and the renowned HRC IVF program has their main office 2 blocks away.

Huntington Hospital, a Pasadena institution for more than 100 years, has a new 80-bed state-of the-art ER, a Level 3 NICU, a 12-bed Perinatal High-Risk Unit, 24-hour in-house Ob Anesthesia and a 24/7 Laborist Program (OBHG).

Pasadena is a colorful multi-cultural community. We have the Rose Parade, Rose Bowl, Cal-Tech, JPL, Huntington Gardens and Library and many museums, playhouses and theaters. Old Town Pasadena has world-class restaurants and shopping. We are minutes from Downtown Los Angeles via the Pasadena Freeway or the Metro Gold Line. The local private schools rank amongst the best in California as do the public schools in nearby San Marino, South Pasadena, Arcadia and La Canada.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

• California Medical License (MD or DO)
• Ob/Gyn Board-Certified or Eligible, U.S. trained
• Dedicated work-ethic suited for a busy, upscale private practice (2/3 OB and 1/3 Gyn)
• Great bedside manner, gets along very well with patients, colleagues and staff.
• Availability August to September 2019; 4^th year residents are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English. A second language is desirable.

We offer a salary initially followed by a salary plus bonus with shareholder potential after 3 years, a 4-day work week, and an on-call schedule (about 1:8). We are looking for someone who plans to put down roots and stay in this community and we will help you build your private practice as a member of our group. You will work in one office, and one hospital which is right next door (4 minute walk from our office to L&D).
