Infinity HealthCare/ Envision Physician Services is currently seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL.

Candidates must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine.

Facility Information

Swedish American Hospital is a division of UW Health- the integrated health system of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and serves as the primary teaching hospital for the University of Illinois College of Medicine. They have provided high quality healthcare services to the community of Rockford for over a century have received numerous awards for quality and performance.

Emergency Department

• 73,000 annual volume
• 313 In-patient beds
• State of Illinois recognition as an ED Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP)
• Stroke and Chest Pain Center
• Intake APP coverage (Triage/ Fast Track) 20 hours/day
• EMS Resource Hospital
• Scribe Program

Physician Staffing: 6am- 4pm/2pm- 12am/10pm-7am; Main Room- 8am- 6pm; Intake- 5pm- 3am

APP Staffing: ED- 7am- 5pm/9am- 7pm/4pm- 2am/8pm- 6am; OBS- 7am- 5pm/ 11am- 9pm/ 5pm- 3:30am
