The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine seeks to fill the position of Associate Medical Director to oversee the clinical operations for the St. Raphael’s Campus of Yale-New Haven Hospital. This campus has a 511-bed acute care hospital with an annual ED volume of 64,000 visits and in conjunction with our York Street campus we provide emergency care for the entire city of New Haven. The Associate Medical Director will join a well-established multidisciplinary leadership group that enjoys an excellent working relationship with our nursing and hospital administrative leadership who have a commitment to continuous quality improvement, providing efficient care and improving patient and staff satisfaction.
Eligible candidates must be residency-trained and board-certified/-prepared in emergency medicine. Rank, protected time and salary will be commensurate with education, training and experience.
