NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is looking for an experienced Emergency Medicine Assistant Residency Program Director to join our team in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is a 651-bed academic institution, academically affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine. This ACS-level II trauma center, which has an ACGME emergency medicine residency training program, an ACGME pediatric emergency medicine fellowship program and an ultrasound fellowship program, cares for residents throughout Brooklyn and the surrounding areas. With 120,000 visits per year, this busy Emergency Medicine is a state-of-the-art facility, including 55 adult ED patient beds, a dedicated women's-care suite, an asthma care center, a state-of-the-art pediatric ER, a rapid evaluation unit, and an advanced triage and fast-track area. The design allows for coordination between all parts of the department through centralized workspaces. The Department also has EMR and order entry, large screen tracking boards placed throughout, drug dispensing technology, and PACS radiology viewing systems, and is not only efficient, but also aesthetically pleasing and staff friendly.
Located in Park Slope, one of the most popular neighborhoods in Brooklyn, known for its’ excellent public schools, Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and trending restaurants and bars.
