Neurosurgery Spine Director, NYC Suburbs

The North Shore-LIJ Department of Neurosurgery and the Cushing Neurosciences Institute is looking for a Board Certified Neurosurgeon with fellowship training in Spine, to lead our team as Director of Spine Surgery at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. The candidate will have also have responsibilities for teaching medical students and residents.

The Cushing Neuroscience Institute (CNI) brings together the vast resources of the North Shore-LIJ Health System and the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine to provide state-of-the-art care while contributing to advances in technology, education and research. The CNI was established in 2006 and is a multidisciplinary continuum of neuroscience programs that combines medicine, scientific research, technology, clinical programs, surgical techniques, and education to advance the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases and disorders. The Cushing Neuroscience Institute's team of neurospecialists are dedicated to providing high-quality, world-class medical and surgical care while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

North Shore University Hospital, located in Manhasset, New York, is an 806 bed academic ACS verified level I Trauma Center.
