Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group has an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Geriatric Medicine physician to join an established team at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center located in Hartford, Connecticut.

This is a full-time opportunity to join an established team of Geriatricians and APRNs within the region’s premier teaching hospital. In this role, the Geriatrician can direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings, teach on-site medical staff and in the classroom through a faculty appointment at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Quinnipiac School of Medicine and provide leadership with a medical directorship at Saint Mary Home-an affiliated facility located two miles from the hospital. This collegial department works collaboratively with specialists and nursing staff throughout the system, including a close working relationship with the palliative care team.

The successful candidate should be a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician with CAQ's in Geriatrics, proven experience providing care for aging populations within an academic setting, and eligibility for faculty appointment with our academic partners. The team is seeking a physician who demonstrates excellence in their practice and shares the core values of idealism, stewardship, reverence and justice.
