The Gainesville, Florida Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting Gastroenterologists to care for our Veterans!

Candidates must be BC in Internal Medicine, BC/BE in Gastroenterology and have experience in the full range of gastroenterology clinical services to treat conditions affecting the GI system such as acid reflux, ulcers, IBS, polyps, jaundice, hemorrhoids, pancreatitis and colon cancer.  

You will perform a wide range of GI procedures such as EGD (gastroscopy), EGD with Peg, colonoscopies, paracentesis, and ERCP, EUS, liver biopsy, and other procedures. Provide inpatient and emergency consultation services related to GI, management of patients with Hepatitis C and admission to the facility. Oversee the administration of conscious sedation.

You will provide consultative and endoscopic supervision of University of Florida (UF) gastroenterology fellows and you will obtain a faculty appointment with UF, Division of Gastroenterology. Teaching is an integral part of the position.
