Faculty Position – Dermatology

The George Washington Medical Faculty Associates, an independent, not-for-profit clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking applicants to fill several openings for full-time academic appointments in a growing Department of Dermatology in the heart of the nation's capital.

Responsibilities include providing patient care; teaching medical students and residents in a variety of clinical and didactic settings; and maintaining an active research program. Opportunities to collaborate in clinical/translational research, attend regional and national conferences, participate in national didactic webcasts, and take advantage of the unique resources of the Washington, DC area are available. These non-tenure track appointments will be made at a rank (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.

Basic Qualifications: Applicants must have an MD degree (or equivalent), be Board-eligible or Board-certified in Dermatology at the time of appointment, and be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia and Maryland.

To apply: Interested applicants should complete an online application at https://www.gwu.jobs/hr/postings/66429/ and upload a letter of interest and curriculum vitae. Review of applications will begin on May 31, 2019, and continue until the positions are filled. Only complete applications will be considered. Employment offers are contingent on the satisfactory outcome of a standard background screening. If you have any questions regarding this position, please contact Adam Friedman, MD, Department Chair, at ajfriedman@mfa.gwu.edu.
