Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician

Carney Hospital, a community-based academic teaching hospital and affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine, is seeking a clinician-educator to join the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care. Our physicians are dedicated to providing a full array of treatments and care for our patients and offer everything from basic pulmonary function to intensive care and outpatient services.

The ideal candidate will be suitable for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, and will have demonstrated a track record of excellence in patient care, teaching, and experience as a mentor-leader in an academic setting to students and residents. He/she will be comfortable providing care across multiple settings, including outpatient clinic, inpatient pulmonary care, medical ICU and LTACH coverage. Sleep medicine expertise is not required. This is a full-time position with leadership opportunities for qualified candidates.

Carney Hospital has evolved into a 159-bed facility. Our doctors provide a wide range of services, including primary care medicine, a wide range of surgical specialties and subspecialties, inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, emergency medicine, critical care, pediatrics, cardiology, neurology, and ambulatory surgery.  Carney Hospital is a member of the Steward Health Care System.
