Multiple Hospitalists needed in a West Texas Community

CompHealth is currently assisting a Texas hospital with their search for hospitalists to join their established team. The group needs to hire multiple IM or FP with current hospitalist experience to help with the growing patient census. You will join four other hospitalists that have an office located within the hospital which includes a hospitalist dedicated work space and equipment. Your schedule will be a long block of 14 on and 14 off, seeing 15 to 18 patients per day on average.

You will work mostly day blocks and there will be some night blocks during the year shared with the other hospitalists. Candidates must be comfortable handling the ICU, ventilation management, and acute patients. They welcome both board certified and board eligible candidates, but if you are board eligible you must be within two years of your residency. Final-year residents are also welcomed and encouraged to apply.
