Bassett Healthcare Network, a rural academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Board Certified Endocrinologist to join a busy endocrinology practice with three full-time endocrinologists, one inpatient diabetologist, two diabetes advance practice clinicians and four diabetes nurse specialists.

The candidate will examine and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the thyroid, pituitary, adrenal and hypothalamus glands.  Consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment.  Recommend and order tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition.  Also responsible for evaluating and treating diseases and conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol imbalances, osteoporosis, infertility and cancers of the endocrine glands.
