Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) has an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join an expanding Spine Clinic practicing at locations in Boise and Nampa, Idaho.

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 480+ provider multispecialty group seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician who is committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. The physician will join a spine clinic that is an expansion from a Boise spine clinic that was established in 2013. The intent is to grow into a Regional Spine program that collaborates with rehabilitation services, Pain Management providers, Neurosurgeons, Orthopedic Surgeons, navigators and additional Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation providers.

The schedule for this full time opportunity is a traditional workweek, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 32 hours of patient contact time. The selected provider will spend 50% of their time practicing in the Nampa clinic and the remaining 50% in the Boise clinic.

The Physiatrists are supported by a well-established complement of spine specialists and ancillary services including: Pain Management, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgeons, Physical Therapy, X-Ray/MRI imaging, and Interventional Radiologists.

The selected physician will have completed a doctor of medicine (MD) or a doctor of osteopathy (DO) degree (MD/DO) and an accredited Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency. They will possess, or be able to obtain within three years of employment, Board Certification through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR) They must possess a current, unrestricted full license in Idaho to practice medicine in all its phases; valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and a DEA.

Preference will be shown to candidates who possess two years of practice experience and/or experience as a Medical Director.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join a growing team within Saint Alphonsus Medical Group.
