Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital is an independently licensed regional pediatric tertiary care center and a Level II trauma center. The pediatric ED sees 42,000+ visits per year and is staffed 24/7 by PEM physicians. It is the only children’s hospital in Pierce County and the receiving center for pediatric trauma and ALS patients for a six-county region serving a population of approximately 500,000. The Pediatric ED enjoys the support of 24-hour inpatient hospitalists and pediatric intensivists as well as the full spectrum of pediatric sub-specialists on call. Mary Bridge ED is a teaching site for emergency medicine, pediatric and family practice residents, as well as University of Washington medical students.

Requirements:

• Fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
• Board certified/eligible at time of employment
• Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
