Of note, the department staffs a 28-bed CVICU and a 19-bed Neuroscience ICU with fellowship trained intensivists 24/7, most of whom serve both as intensivists and OR anesthesiologists. We also have a growing comprehensive Pain Management Center, and provide an Acute Perioperative Pain Service. Compensation and benefits are excellent and rank in the top tier of academic departments nationwide.
