Northwell Health OB/GYN Practice Opportunities

The Northwell Health Katz Institute for Women s Health strives to be a leader in the delivery of comprehensive, integrated health care. As we expand our women s health services across the health system, the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking dynamic BC/BE Obstetricians for unique opportunities to join select practices on Long Island.

• Rockville Centre/Garden City : We are currently looking for an additional obstetrician to join an established 9 provider practice. There are 5 practicing Obstetricians/Gynecologists, 3 Gynecologists and 1 Nurse Practitioner in this group. The staff admits to North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY, a 764 bed tertiary facility with approximately 6,500 deliveries per year. This is a multi-site practice, with offices in Garden City and Rockville Centre, 30 minutes from Manhattan.
• Bellmore/Franklin Square: We are currently looking for two OB/GYNs to join practices on the South Shore of Long Island. Both practices admit to Long Island Jewish Medical Center, with 1,025 beds and close to 10,000 deliveries per year. Bellmore and Franklin Square are both less than 20 minutes away from Long Island s world famous ocean beaches, and an easy train ride into Manhattan.
• Sleepy Hollow: We are looking for one OB/GYN to join a team of eight OB/GYNs at Phelps Medical Associates. The primary practice location is on the campus of Phelps Memorial Hospital Center (there are other locations in the community; all within 15 minutes of the hospital). Phelps has 238 beds and roughly 1,100 deliveries per year. Sleepy Hollow is a beautiful town on the Hudson River in Westchester County, and is a 35 minute express-train ride into Manhattan.
• Suffolk County: Practices that deliver to Huntington Hospital (1,500 deliveries/year), Southside Hospital (2,450 deliveries/year) and Peconic Bay Medical Center (400 deliveries/year) all have the ability to bring in a new OB/GYN this year.
