Growing ObGyn Practice

This busy community practice has six physicians, nine midwives and two NPs that cover three offices and one hospital.  Currently, the group has offices in Middletown, Dover and Milford.  Hospital care and deliveries are done at Bayhealth Medical Center Kent Campus in Dover and most of the group's surgery is done at the Delaware Surgery Center in Dover. Call will be 1:7 with full-time midwives taking first call.  Sometime in 2020 the practice will be expanding into new office space across from the new Bayhealth Medical Sussex Campus in Milford.

Teaching opportunities abound with a regular rotation of physician assistant, nurse practitioner, midwifery, and medical students at the practice.  In addition, Bayhealth will be starting residency programs in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine in 2021 so residents will be added to the teaching opportunities.
