Full-Time Physician

The VA Saint Louis Health Care System (VASTLHCS) is seeking a full time Physician to join our team. This appointment will be split 5/8 time with the VA St. Louis Health Care System and 3/8 time with Saint Louis University School of Medicine. The VASTLHCS provides cutting-edge surgical care to veterans ranging from common outpatient procedures to complex Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, General Surgery, Otolaryngology, Urologic, Orthopedic, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Some of the Plastic and Reconstructive services provided at our medical center are complex reconstructions of the lower extremity, hand/upper body extremity, breast reconstruction, lower limb salvage and care of pressure sores. Duties for this position would include; coordination with other Surgical sections such as CT, Colorectal, Vascular Surgery, Dermatology, and Orthopedics. As we are affiliated with Washington University School of Medicine and Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Resident education and supervision is an essential role of this position.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
