Musculoskeletal Radiologist

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is seeking a full-time Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join our growing team. Successful candidates will be ABR-eligible or board certified and will have completed dedicated fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging.

At Northwell, Musculoskeletal Radiologists have both clinical and academic responsibilities. Clinical responsibilities require expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound and image-guided procedures. Academic responsibilities involve teaching medical students, residents and fellows at the tertiary centers. Academic appointment at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with experience. There are also many opportunities to engage in innovative research.

Northwell s Musculoskeletal (MSK) Division consists of nine fellowship-trained musculoskeletal radiologists who provide musculoskeletal and procedural services at tertiary and community hospitals throughout the health system, as well as at multiple outpatient imaging facilities stretching from Manhattan to the east end of Long Island. The division is active in the training of 40 radiology residents and 1 musculoskeletal fellow. The MSK division interprets more than 30,000 MRI examinations yearly along with 6000 CT exams, 1000 diagnostic ultrasound exams and 2500 image guided procedures.
