Whether you are academically-focused or love community medicine, we have openings to cater to your passions.  We are currently expanding our emergency medicine teams at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA and at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer MA.  We are also able to offer split positions for those interested in both academic and community hospital environments.  Additionally, we are recruiting an Associate Medical Director of EMS.

Baystate Medical Center, Springfield MA: 

• At BMC, you will work in the busiest single-site ED in Massachusetts with an admission rate of 28%. We serve over 122,000 adult and pediatric patients annually.  BMC is the region’s only Level I Trauma Center. 
• Faculty appointment to UMass Medical School and responsibility for working closely with our EM residents and fellows as well as medical students.

Baystate Wing Hospital, Palmer MA:

• A brand new state-of-the-art Emergency Department has opened in September 2018 at Baystate Wing Hospital.   Every detail is focused on providing excellent patient experience.  BWH handles approximately 25,000 visits annually.  Enjoy solid specialty support at BWH as well as integrated support from our specialty service line leaders at Baystate Medical Center.  APs run fast track.
