Kidney Transplant Nephrologist

The Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and Northwell Health’s Division of Nephrology at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Long Island, NY are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Transplant Nephrologist to join our dynamic 20 member faculty. The Division of Nephrology is acclaimed for its clinical, educational and research activities, and innovative programs.

The Northwell Renal Transplant program has experienced significant growth in recent years.  We are seeking a clinical transplant nephrologist to practice in an Academic Nephrology setting caring for a wide variety of patients, accompanied by clinical educator responsibilities.  The clinical practice occurs in various settings including hospital consults, pre- and post-transplant care clinics, and outreach community programs.

The position comes with a faculty appointment at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Teaching responsibilities include both didactic and clinical teaching of medical students, residents, and nephrology fellows.
