Body Imaging Radiologist
The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is seeking full-time Body Imaging Radiologists to join our growing team at the North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center Campuses. Successful candidates will be ABR-eligible or board certified and will have completed a body imaging fellowship.
At Northwell, Body Imaging Radiologists have both clinical and academic responsibilities. Clinical responsibilities include interpreting chest and abdominal CT, MRI, general X-ray, and ultrasound. Academic responsibilities involve teaching medical students, residents and fellows at the tertiary centers. Academic appointment at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with the level of experience. There are also many opportunities to engage in innovative research.
The Body Imaging Division consists of over 20 fellowship-trained radiologists who provide interpretation and consultation at multiple tertiary and community hospitals throughout the health system, as well as ten outpatient imaging facilities stretching from Manhattan to the east end of Long Island. The division is active in the training of 40 residents and 3 fellows.
