The US spends trillions of dollars each year treating diseases that are often preventable or treatable with lifestyle change. Often, doctors don’t have time to teach patients about nutrition and exercise, and in many cases, aren’t up to date on the latest research regarding what drives the best outcomes from a lifestyle perspective.

As Chief Medical Officer, you’ll analyze existing evidence and consult with clinicians and scientists about the optimal non-pharmaceutical strategies across nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress reduction. You’ll use this knowledge to work directly with our CEO to design digital programs for patients suffering from a variety of chronic diseases.

You’ll design and run clinical trials that determine the effectiveness of these programs on outcomes like weight loss, HA1C, symptom reduction, and more. You’ll also be the company’s primary medical representative, contributing to conversations with health plans and regulatory bodies to share information about outcomes and

You'll also have the flexibility to do 1 day of clinical work of your choosing per week.

Our ideal candidate has all or most of the following:

  • An MD, DO, or PhD
  • A deep and optimistic desire to improve the status quo of the current healthcare system
  • The ability to thrive on a fast-paced small team that values collaboration & learning
  • Strong communication skills and enjoys presenting to a team

Not required, but please let us know if you have:

  • Prior experience writing for and participating in regulatory interactions with the FDA
  • Prior experience in clinical development for early-stage products and understands the needs of the market
