Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center is seeking a cardiothoracic surgeon to join our existing practice in Reading, PA. Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center is part of the Penn State University Cardiothoracic Surgery program and as such the successful candidate will be a part of the Faculty. The ideal candidate will have an interest in both cardiac and thoracic surgery.  The successful candidate will be based at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, but will have the opportunity to spend dedicated time at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.  Candidates should be ABTS board certified/board eligible and will have completed an ACGME approved surgery residency.  Three to five years’ experience is preferred, but exceptional junior candidates will be considered. 

Job Requirements:

• Medical degree - M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent
• Eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
• Completion of an accredited Fellowship program
• Board certification/eligibility in CT Surgery
