Hiring: BE/BC in Gastroenterology Health Sciences Clinical Series Assistant or Associate Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology

The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine is recruiting for one full-time position in the Health Sciences Clinical Series at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology to add to its current faculty. Appointees to the Health Sciences Clinical series are required to participate in patient care, teaching, creative activities, and university service. The position will be primarily dedicated to providing outstanding general gastroenterology care and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. The final candidate will be expected to provide gastroenterology consultation and endoscopy services at a satellite primary care network site located in the greater Sacramento region and share in call at the UC Davis Medical Center.

Candidates must have expertise in general gastroenterology and diagnostic/therapeutic endoscopy.  Candidates must possess an M.D. degree, be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology and have completed a three-year Gastroenterology fellowship training program.  Candidates must be qualified for licensure within the State of California.  Candidates must have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.
