Assistant or Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine

Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a motivated clinician/educator or a physician scientist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Our section of pulmonary and critical care medicine is a collaborative group that consists of 29 clinical and research faculty. Our faculty members provide services at Tulane University Hospital, the newly constructed University Medical Center and a contemporary tertiary VA. Our combined hospitals share training programs that includes 12 pulmonary/critical care fellows. Unique research opportunities include a close working relationship with the School of Public Health, Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Center for Aging, the Center for Translational Research in Infection and Inflammation, Biomedical Engineering, and the Tulane Primate Center.

Tulane University Hospital, The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System, and University Medical Center are located adjacent to each other in downtown New Orleans, Louisiana.  New Orleans is a city steeped in culture and diversity.  For the second year in a row New Orleans was ranked the 2^nd best city by Travel + Leisure.
