Shasta Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, the premier musculoskeletal sub-specialty group practice in Northern California, has an immediate opening for a Neurosurgeon who can provide the following:

Spine Surgery, Trauma, Cranial Procedures, Neurovascular Surgery

Our strategic objectives include the continued development of our musculoskeletal subspecialty specific group by the development of our non-surgical and surgical service offerings in: Neurosurgery, Spine, Pain Management, Joint, Sports Medicine  and Occupational Medicine service programs.

Partnership is considered after the first year of employment. Opportunities for partnership in Apogee Outpatient Surgery Center and real estate ventures are also available. A relocation allowance is provided to those joining our group.

Our beautiful new 56,000 square foot, state-of-the-art medical office building was designed specifically for our use and is in a highly visible and easily accessible location. Ancillary services provided at this facility include two digital imaging suites, an MRI scanner, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, two procedure suites with C-arm and an EMG suite.

These providers are supported by an experienced staff of allied health professionals including certified Medical Assistants, Orthopaedic Technicians, and Radiologic Technologists.

The population of Redding is 89,000, and the population of our practice's patient catchment area is currently 370,000 and growing! The payer mix of our community is predominantly private insurance with provider networks including Blue Cross, Blue Shield etc. There is no HMO managed care. The Redding area offers a wonderful climate, mountains, lakes, entertainment, sports and outdoor activities.
