Pediatric Endocrinologist - Blank Children's Hospital - Des Moines

Overview

• Growing practice with large referral base

• Hours are M-F 8-4:30
• EPIC EMR system

Responsibilities

• Seeing an average of 12-14 patients/day
• Call is 1:5
• Opportunity for endocrine disorders and diabetes
• Combination of inpatient and outpatient work
• ACGME approved General Surgery Residency Program at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.  Resident teaching is an integral part of the practice.  Blank Children’s has an ACGME approved Pediatric Residency program affiliated with the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa.  The hospital also hosts rotating medical students from the College of Medicine.  An academic appointment and research opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Board Certified MD or DO
• Hold an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to work as a team
