McLaren Northern Michigan has an excellent opportunity for a Neurosurgeon to join a thriving team in Petoskey, Michigan.  Be a part of a progressive regional hospital offering a supportive and experienced clinical environment with significant market share growth potential.  Procedures include disc surgery, surgical fusions, kyphoplasty and skull-base surgery.  Clinic and hospital support is provided by a Physician Assistant and call coverage is 1:3.  The selected candidate will be BC/BE. Additional highlights include:

  • State-of-the-art Technology: In-house O-Arm and Stealth, upgraded Medtronic surgical devices, Stryker Pneumatic drill and a number of trauma systems. 
     
  • Multidisciplinary Support: A spine/neurosurgery referral center, Oncology support from the renowned Karmanos Cancer Institute, Pain management support and a Level II Trauma Center (designation in progress). 
     
  • Commitment to Quality Care: McLaren Northern Michigan is currently undergoing a major expansion project adding 92 new private rooms, additional observation beds, and renovation of the current facility.  This expansion project will also bring 9 newly constructed/enhanced operating rooms that will be 30% larger to accommodate newer technology.
