Pulmonary &/or Critical Care Physician

Parkview Health, the largest non-profit health system in northeast Indiana, is currently seeking a board eligible/board certified Pulmonary &/or Critical Care Physician. This physician will join our collegial group of 10 employed pulmonary and critical care physicians and will primarily cover the Parkview Regional Medical Center hospital with occasional shifts at Parkview Hospital Randallia in downtown Fort Wayne. Physician’s will cover different areas by week.
In 2012, the Parkview Regional Medical Center campus opened its doors on the north side of the city. The hospital features a high acuity ICU with ECMO and utilizes 24-hour Advance Practice Provider support and 24-hour physician coverage under a shift based model. This 24-hour ICU coverage allows for very low intensity pulmonary call. In addition, there are opportunities to be part of our multi-disciplinary thoracic cancer team as well as opportunities to do EBUS, EMN, and/or pleurx catheters if you prefer. PRMC is a tertiary referral center, not academic, however opportunities for research are available through the Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation.
Physician will also help cover Parkview Hospital Randallia ICU and outpatient clinic located in downtown Fort Wayne. In 2014, the Parkview Health system made a commitment to invest $55 million into the downtown hospital in the form of physical renovations, care model transformation, and physician recruitment. The hospital remodeled, expanded, and reopened an Intensive Care Unit, featuring 12 state-of-the-art ICU rooms with eICU technology.
As an employed physician of Parkview Health, you will be eligible for highly competitive salaries at an hourly rate plus annual incentive compensation, allowing you the opportunity to earn up to $450k with the groups regular rotation.
