TriHealth G, LLC is a Physician practice group of hospitalists providing inpatient care to patients admitted to affiliated hospitals of TriHealth, Inc., an integrated healthcare system serving the greater Cincinnati, Ohio, community. We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician, Residency Program, to provide direct medical care to hospitalized patients. Diagnose, prevent and treat illness/disease in Internal Medicine. Assess the patient's response to treatment ensuring the highest quality care. Collaborate with other physicians regarding clinical aspects of patient care. Train, supervise and assist residents to formulate patient care plans during direct patient care activities. Review quality concerns and incident reports regarding patient care and recommend appropriate action. Review and discuss patient satisfaction surveys with the residents and the care team to improve patient engagement. Participate in the development and review of the residency program requirements and resident assignments. Job location is at The Good Samaritan Hospital of Cincinnati, Ohio, a TriHealth affiliate. Normal Schedule is 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. five days per week. Specific shifts may vary as needed and may occasionally include weekends or night shifts or may fall on national holidays.

Job Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree; Employer will accept foreign equivalent degree in Medicine, such as MBBS, BMED or first professional degree in Medicine, in lieu of MD degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.  Must: have unrestricted Ohio medical license; be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine; completed residency training in Internal Medicine as required for State licensing and Board Certification in the U.S.; successfully completed USMLE Steps 1, 2, and 3; and have currently valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification. Foreign medical graduates must have ECFMG certification.
