The successful candidate will be a Board Certified (ABPN) Academic Neurologist, Fellowship trained in Vascular Neurology (preferably Certified in Vascular Neurology by the ABPN). The applicant should have also completed an accredited Neuroendovascular Fellowship and be proficient in the endovascular and medical management of acute ischemic stroke. The candidate will have an active role in the continuum of stroke care (Telestroke; inpatient/outpatient; applied stroke research/clinical stroke trials) including supervision of Stroke Fellow clinics; education of medical students, residents, and fellows. Endovascular stroke call coverage will occur at Loyola University Medical Center 7-10 days per month and other affiliated hospitals 7 days per month.
