The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery seeks a Clinical Associate at full-time effort for a renewable two year term. Clinical responsibilities will include care for pediatric Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery patients with craniofacial deformities, including, but not limited to, congenital nevi and ear deformities. We especially welcome applicants with experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery, focused on pediatric craniofacial surgery; the ability to build a clinical productive practice with a focus on congenital nevi reconstruction, cleft lip and palate, craniofacial deformities, congenital and acquired ear deformities, and the reconstruction of birthmarks, both vascular and pigmented; and availability to begin employment during calendar year 2019. This position does not require teaching or scholarly activity.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board certified in Plastic Surgery, and 4) have completed an accredited residency or equivalent training in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
