Saint Alphonsus Medical Group has an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join a clinic-based practice on the campus of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Nampa located in Nampa, Idaho.

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 450+ provider multispecialty group seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician who is committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care in a significantly underserved community. This is a perfect opportunity for an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician seeking a more rural style of practice with the support of a large health system and a well-organized multispecialty group practice. The clinic, in a new medical office building and the Birkeland Maternity Center (a 20 bed LDR unit with a spa-like feel and atmosphere) are both located on the campus of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Nampa, a newly built 100 bed community hospital supported by a strong network of primary care clinics and specialty care providers.

The full time schedule for this opportunity is a traditional clinic work week with a minimum of 32 patient contact hours. In addition to clinic the physician will have hospital responsibilities, including evenings and weekends, and a 1:5 call schedule that is shared equitably with other employed Obstetrics and Gynecology physicians.

Support for the clinic includes Maternal-Fetal-Medicine, Gynecology Oncology, a 4 bed Level II NICU, 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia, an Emergency Department and the SAMG network of 74 Primary and Specialty Care clinics. Larger system resources include the Boise OB/GYN practice and da Vinci XI and SI available at the Boise campus.

Requirements for this opportunity include an individual with a doctor of medicine (MD) or a doctor of osteopathy (DO) degree (MD/DO), the successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program, board certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOBOG) - or the commitment to obtain certification within 3 years of employment. The physician must also be eligible to obtain Idaho and Oregon medical licensure, the granting of privileges at SAMC- Nampa and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed, a DEA and valid controlled substance registrations with the Boards of Pharmacy.

This is a great opportunity for an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join a growing medical group.
