Rheumatology opportunity at Henry Ford Hospital

Overview:

The Henry Ford Health System Division of Rheumatology, within the Henry Ford Medical Group, is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Rheumatologist as a Senior Staff Physician to join our clinical and research programs.  This is one of the nation’s leading comprehensive health systems, providing acute, primary and preventive care services.  The division is backed by excellence in research and education and a collaborative practice with the other specialties of the 1,200 physician Henry Ford Medical Group.

The Department of Rheumatology, one of the largest rheumatology practices in Michigan, has seven faculty physicians providing inpatient and outpatient services throughout southeastern Michigan, one advanced practice provider, and two full-time research staff that participate in government-funded, industry-sponsored, and investigator-initiated clinical research in lupus and vasculitis.  Henry Ford Medical Group Division of Rheumatology in collaboration with Wayne State University provide one of the largest Rheumatology fellowship programs in the United States, that accepts four fellows per year.

The Rheumatology practice completes over 10,000 outpatient visits annually across four outpatient medical centers and infusion centers in metro Detroit.  Offering a Musculoskeletal Disorder Clinic that uses real-time images taken without radiation.
