Tennova - Clarksville is a 270 bed medical center, located in Clarksville, Tennessee. As one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the area, Tennova Clarksville main ED and freestanding (FSED) provides treatment to over 73,000 patients annually. The main ED department has 43 beds, private care patient rooms, and a CT scanner to provide immediate access to services. The Freestanding ED has 8 beds with CT, Radiology, RT and Labs onsite. The Main ED has 45 hours of physician coverage and 55 hours of Advanced Practitioner Clinician (APC) coverage daily. The freestanding ED has 24 hours of physician coverage and 10 hours of APC coverage daily. Here are some facts about Tennova Clarksville:

Requirements:

• Tennessee Medical License
• DEA License with Tennessee registration
• ACGME Residency completion
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) or Primary Care with BCEM or AAPS
• Current ACLS, PALS, (ATLS desired but not required for EM Residency Trained)

Compensation
Physicians are Independent Contractors and Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) are employees of VEP Healthcare. All providers given base rates with the opportunity to earn productivity pay at specific sites. VEP provides providers with flexible schedules, and paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage. Providers also enjoy the benefit of becoming a shareholder after 150 hours worked which allows them to be actively involved in the governance of the company. Shareholders have the option of participating in VEP s 401(k) plan and short-term & long-term disability plans.
