Neurosurgeon

Actively growing and prosperous neurosurgery practice is seeking a board certified/board eligible neurosurgeon to help meet the increasing local demand for neurosurgical services. Practice is located in the suburbs of Washington, DC and provides care in community hospitals, including a Level II Trauma Center. All facilities are well-staffed with mid-levels (including dedicated neurosurgery mid-level providers), excellent hospitalist support and physicians of multiple other specialties. Incoming neurosurgeon will be busy immediately and see a broad spectrum of brain and spine pathology. The very busy practice currently enjoys a healthy referral base and supported by multiple hospitals. The practice has a very close collaborative relationship with local neurosurgeons, and shares call responsibilities with them. Additional opportunities include potential for leadership positions in local hospitals building neurosurgery programs and potential for ancillary income at a successful multi-specialty physician-owned surgery center.
