Envision Physician Services is seeking an Emergency Medicine Medical Director to become part of our prestigious practice at Northwest Medical Center in the Fort Lauderdale area (Margate, FL). Candidates must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine with­ previous leadership and administrative experience. Candidates must also have strong­ team building skills,­ excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Northwest Medical Center in Margate, is a 228-bed facility that offers medical and surgical programs including open heart surgery, 24-hour Adult and Pediatric ER, maternity, orthopedics, pediatrics, robotic and minimally invasive surgery, heart and vascular, weight loss surgery, rehabilitation, and women’s services to Margate, Coconut Creek, Coral Springs, Parkland and the surrounding communities in Broward County, Florida.

Northwest Medical Center’s $17.5 million Emergency Room expansion includes:

• 54-ED beds
• 55,000 patients per year
• Separate pediatric ER
• 50 hours of physician coverage
• 24 hours of advanced practice providers coverage
• Admission rate of 30%.
• EMR system is Meditech, Pdoc, dragon dictation
• SCRIBE services to the physicians
