Outstanding clinical opportunity in a leading academic urology department

Weill Cornell Medicine’s Department of Urology is seeking Fellowship trained candidates for academic/clinical positions based at sites of the New York-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The appointments will be at the Assistant, Associate or full Professor level with an area of excellence in clinical expertise and innovation. This offers the unique opportunity to further develop a practice at a regional site of Weill Cornell Medicine/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in tight coordination with the Department of Urology at Weill Cornell Medicine. Excellent opportunities for mentorship from established senior faculty members of Weill Cornell Medicine are available and disease management teams involving other Weill Cornell full-time faculty.

The successful candidates for these roles will be responsible for program development and primary patient care coverage at New York-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. There are ample opportunities for collaboration within an academic urology department, including clinical, basic science and translational research with NIH-funded urological research, clinical trials, and outcomes/translational research on patients treated at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine.  There are opportunities for teaching of residents, medical students, and other academic activities typical of all members of the Department of Urology.

Individuals who have board certification in urology and have established clinical experience are encouraged to apply. Applicants should be Fellowship trained academic clinicians. We are currently seeking candidates in the following subspecialties: urologic oncology, endourology, voiding dysfunction, men’s health/general urology.
