The Department of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) in Houston, Texas, is seeking a Board Certified Geriatrician at the Associate or Full Professor level for the role of Chief of Geriatric Medicine. The ideal applicant will be a physician with a track-record of leadership, research, mentoring and program development.

The Section has a total of 33 faculty and 9 clinical fellows. The faculty and fellows practice at the Senior Care Clinic affiliated with Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, Harris Health program, which includes a notable House Calls program, Houston VA Geriatrics and Extended Care Service, and several assisted living and skilled nursing facilities across Houston.  The Section is closely associated with the renowned research center: Huffington Center on Aging at BCM. In addition, Section members have research activities in oncology, cardiovascular and health services research.
