In partnership with NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi our teams accommodate more than 325,000 outpatient visits, more than 100,000 emergency room visits and more than 20,000 inpatient admissions annually. NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi is renowned for The Trauma Center, staffed to treat any traumatic injury or illness, the fully accredited Breast Health Center, and The Burn Center, with more than 40 years of work in burn care. The hospital also serves patients of many other needs. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College of Yeshiva University.

North Central Bronx Hospital is a modern, state-of-the-art community hospital located in an attractive and safe residential Bronx neighborhood just 20 minutes north of Manhattan. It is a North Bronx Healthcare Network hospital affiliated with Jacobi Medical Center and a teaching site and academic affiliate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. It offers a full continuum of acute care inpatient and outpatient services in diverse medical and surgical specialties, including psychiatry. The department of psychiatry has 70 adult and geriatric acute inpatient beds, a partial hospital program, psychiatric emergency and consultation-liaison services, an adult ambulatory practice, and a community-based assertive community treatment program.
 
We are currently seeking a full-time Nuclear Medicine physician and PET/CT director
 
Responsibilities:

-       Interpretation of all nuclear medicine studies  including PET-CT

-       Daily consultations with the referring clinical services

-       Supervision and training of residents, medical students and technologists

-       Formal teaching and academic research in radiology/nuclear medicine

-       Participation in multi-disciplinary conferences including tumor board

       Qualifications:

Board Eligible/certified Nuclear Medicine physician who ideally is fellowship-trained and has experience in PET-CT. Prior Radiology training, as evidence by Board certification/eligibility,  desirable but not absolutely necessary

 Eligible for NYS Licensure
