Palliative Care Physician

Employed Palliative Care opportunity in Flagstaff, Arizona

FMC is looking for a BC/BE Palliative Care physician to join their team.  The program currently staffs 2 providers inpatient 365 days a year with a robust outpatient clinic.  Position is mainly inpatient with option to work outpatient if physician chooses.

Average daily inpatient census is ~10 patients per provider.  Average daily clinic census is ~8 patients.

This is an employed position, with full benefits (including malpractice), and a competitive salary. FMC is a 274 bed regional referral center with open heart surgery, a PICU, level 1 trauma designated ED, etc.

Flagstaff, Arizona is a culturally diverse, picturesque, mountain and university community with four distinct seasons. FMC sits at 7,000 feet elevation, with the town nestled in the world’s largest ponderosa pine forest. Flagstaff is a great community for raising a family, has a wide variety of recreational activities available throughout the year, and is only 1 hour from the Grand Canyon. Flagstaff is roughly 2 hours north of Phoenix, 30 minutes from Sedona and 10 minutes from Snowbowl Ski Resort.
