Live, work and play were other people only get to vacation.  Replace a retiring physician practicing general GI and be busy from day one.  You can take over his solo practice or join a multispecialty group that is willing to absorb the GI practice—the choice is yours!  Practice can be molded to fit your desires, take as little or as much call as you want.  Retiring practitioner works no weekends and takes minimal call at the local hospital (3 days/month).  Current practice is essentially 100% outpatient, there is a great opportunity to expand the inpatient/call portion of the practice if desired.  Work at the office, local surgery center and 1 hospital.  ERCP would be a great plus but is not required.  Local physicians are competent, friendly and eagerly awaiting a new GI colleague. Partnership interest in surgery center is available.
