Physician - Pediatrics - Endocrinology Job in Detroit, MI

The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at Children’s Hospital of Michigan is actively seeking a fellowship trained physician as they continue to expand to better serve the endocrine needs of children living in Metro Detroit. The division is comprised of 7 physicians, a nurse practitioner, diabetes nurse educators, endocrine nurses, dieticians, and social workers – together they provide a team approach to patient care.

Candidate will be responsible for seeing patients in inpatient and outpatient clinic settings along with other division members. The call schedule is divided with other division members with a minimum of 1 in 6 calls. Weekend and holiday call is also divided amongst the group.

The candidate will have an academic appointment with Wayne State University School of Medicine. The Department of Pediatrics is one of the largest clinical and academic programs at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Children’s Hospital of Michigan is the training location for one of the largest Pediatric residency programs in the country, several pediatric surgical specialties, and several pediatric fellowship programs. Opportunities for collaborative clinical and basic research with SOM/WSU are available.
