The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will be accomplished in the area of Pediatrics or Internal Medicine with a focus on Adolescent Medicine. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Board certified/eligible in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine and Adolescent Medicine is required.
The position will be responsible for inpatient and outpatient primary and specialty care in Adolescent Medicine at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and participate in clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows as a member of the Craig-Dalsimer Division of Adolescent Medicine. Multiple sites of practice are available including a primary care practice, specialty care satellite locations and inpatient units at CHOP and a behavioral health hospital. Multiple opportunities for collaborative clinical research are available related to continuous quality improvement, health services, minority health, resiliency, STDs/HIV, pregnancy prevention, smoking, gender, eating disorders, obesity, depression and suicide. Experience in leadership preferred as leadership positions in these clinical areas may also be available.
